Creating a Website of your own. How it is? Fine. After learning about Internet so far, it is quite natural to have a desire to own a website. The three steps of creating a website are domain registration, designing and uploading. What are these terms?

1. Domain Registration : In order to make a website, first you will have to register your domain name. For this you can either register using Internet or through a Internet Consultant. You can register this for one or more years. More people register their domain in USA. When you register your name in India "in" will be added to the website address. ("in" signifies the short form for India).

www.yahoo.com, www.vsnl.net.in are examples. Here "com" signifies commercial institutions and "net" signifies computer firms.

We have mentioned earlier that the short form of India is "in". Most countries in the world have an approved short form for use in the Internet. Short forms of some of countries are given below.
