ASSISTANT SALES MAN EXAM, 2012 – KERALA STATE CIVIL SUPPLIES CORPORATION


Kerala Public Service Commission conducts this entrance exam viz. Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited – Assistant Salesman Exam.


Eligibility: Bachelors Degree from Kerala or any other recognized University. Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years is the age limit.

Last date of Online Registration – Third Week of February, 2012

Date of Examination – Third Week of April, 2012

Structure of Exam: KPSC conduct a written test of objective type with 100 multiple type questions. One hour and fifteen minutes will be given to the candidates to finish the exam. Medium of the test will be in English and the main evaluations by this exam are general knowledge, mental ability, General English, Arithmetic ability etc.  Valuation is same as all other exams conducted by KPSC. 1(one) mark is given for right answer and ¼ mark will be deducted for wrong answers.


Syllabus:  Sec. No. 1 : General Knowledge and Current Affairs :- Indian Constitution, History of India, Social Science, Indian Polity and Economy, Science, Indian and World Geography, Sports, Culture, Literature, Current Events of National and International Importance.


Sec. No. 2: English:- Grammar, Fill in the Blanks, Comprehension, Prepositions, Articles, Sentence Correction, Voices, Question Tags, Tenses, Spelling, Phrases, Essay Writings, Precise Writings etc.


Sec. No. 3: Simple Arithmetic and Metal Ability:- Speed, Numerical Ability, Logical Reasoning, Reasoning, Profit and Loss, Distance, Simple Interest, Average, Data Interpretation etc.
