POST OFFICE, PPF DEPOSITS TO FETCH MORE New Delhi: The government on Monday announced a 20-50 basis point increase in inter5est rate on small savings schemes such as public provident funds, post office deposits and National Savings Certificate (100 basis points equal one percentage point). VETERAN KERALA ACTOR JOSE PRAKASH IS DIED Kochi: Veteran Malayalam Actor Jose Prakash died in a private hospital on Saturday afternoon following prolonged illness, a day after Kerala honoured him with the highest award.
