UDF chief whip PC George openly said that he wished Selvaraj to contest as the UDF candidate in Neyyattinkara.


Selvaraj has considerablae clout in the constituency. He will get the backing of VSDP even if he contested alone. In such a situation, he will not the ideal candidate as he can prevent splitting of congress vote"
