THAKAZHY (Alappuzha): Today, the students of  Noopura Academy for Dance, Alappuzha performed Classic and folk dances on stage. They also performed a dance form of Thakazhy's famous "Pennale, Kannale, Karimeen Kannale.." of World famous "Chemmeen". 2012 April, 17 is the 100th birth day of the Legend Gyanpith Scholar Thakazhy G. Siva Sankara Pillai.

PMKVY SCHEMES FOR SKILL DEVELOPMENT It is known as PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana), which is meant for Skill Development in students, is a flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). Scheme Guidelines of PMKVY Students can undergo industry relevant skill training, under this scheme, which will help them to secure a better livelihood.
