State leaves Uttar Pradesh and Delhi far behind in crime.
The national crime records bureau's latest figures show Kerala is the most unsafe place in India.

Kerala has a crime rate of 424.1 which is more than double the national average of 187.6.
Of the 2,41,986 violent crimes in the country, Kerala accounted for 11,756.
The state ranks highest in incidents of rioting and arson at 26 compared to national average of 6.4.
God's own country's rate of crimes against women is 27, higher than Delhi which is 24.6
Crime rate in Kochi is 1879.8 compared to most cities where the same figure averages to 341.9.
The city also witnessed 1.93% rise in crimes compared to 2009.
Even women are not very safe in Kerala. The state's rate of crime against women hovers at 27, even higher than Delhi which is often called the most unsafe place for women.
Bihar, incidently is one of the safest place for women recording a crime rate of only 8.7.
