LONDON OLYMPICS 2012- KALMADI TO MISS OPENING CEREMONY
New Delhi: Sacked CWG Organizing Committee Chairman Suresh Kalmadi was on Wednesday retrained by the Delhi High Court from going to London to attend the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympics, saying his participation can cause "embarrassment" to the nation.
A bench of acting Chief Justice A K Sikri and Justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw also barred Kalmadi from leaving the country till July 27.
