HOW TO APPLY FOR A NEW RATION CARD ONLINE?

It was a great task earlier in Kerala to apply and get a new Ration Card, as it was made manually. Now the situation improved  and you can apply online for it. Here given the details, how to apply online for a new ration card and how to modify the existing cards.

1.       First of all, you should have to visit the website of Kerala Civil Supplies Department: APPLY ONLINE FOR NEW RATION CARD.

2.       Then go for e-services Login ( it is given on the right side below the services tab)

3.       When a new page opens, click on register now.

4.       Do you have a ration card? Select NO.

5.       User name and password as on your choice.

6.       Fill all the mandatory fields ( which is marked with red star mark). Please make sure that while entering your password, you have to use at least one special symbol to ensure the secrecy.

7.       Click Submit. A new page will open now. ClickVerify Account.

8.       Here your account is successfully created and activated.

9.       Login again to apply for a new ration card.

10.   Go to below the services link and click on New Ration Card.

11.   Click on New Application.

12.   Fill up the form correctly.

13.   If you have difficulty in typing Malayalam, click the text box of Type in Malayalam. A pop up window will open with Malayalam Keyboard. Type it.

14.   All fields required must be filled up. Submit your passport size photo. The size should be 50 KB or less and should be 65 x 80 in JPG format.

15.   Click Submit

16.   Take a print out of the application form.

17.   Here you can see the Application Status, Payment Details and Objections etc.

18.   Go to your Taluk Supply Office and submit the print out of the application form and present the originals of the records submitted online.

19.   Wait of the Taluk Supply Officer to sanction it.

HOW TO MODIFY THE EXISTING RATION CARDS?

It is simple. Do the steps 1 to 3 above and enter the bar code and ration card number on the last page. Do whatever needed for registration. There will be 13 options for various services available and you can choose the desired service and fill up the forms.
