PMKVY SCHEMES FOR SKILL DEVELOPMENT It is known as PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana), which is meant for Skill Development in students, is a flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). Scheme Guidelines of PMKVY Students can undergo industry relevant skill training, under this scheme, which will help them to secure a better livelihood. It is totally free and the training and assessment fee will be completely paid by the Government itself and the training will be conducted at the approved training centers. To encourage skill development for youth by providing monetary benefits/ rewards for successful completion is the objective of this scheme. Monitory rewards : The trainee will be given a certificate as well as a monetary reward of an average of Rs.8000.00 per trainee, upon successful assessment.
