Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy launched the India's first seaplane service at Kollam.

Firstly, it is Cessna 206H, a six-seater aircraft will be used for this purpose

PMKVY SCHEMES FOR SKILL DEVELOPMENT It is known as PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana), which is meant for Skill Development in students, is a flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). Scheme Guidelines of PMKVY Students can undergo industry relevant skill training, under this scheme, which will help them to secure a better livelihood.
