MIRACULOUS LIGHT BEAM (VILAKKU MAADAM OR VILAKKU KALLU) IN KARUMADI TEMPLE
MIRACULOUS LIGHT BEAM (VILAKKU MAADAM OR VILAKKU KALLU) IN KARUMADI TEMPLE
A stone light beam (vilakku madam or vilakku kallu) in front of Karumadi Kamapuram Sree Sankara Narayana Temple.
Two temples are there i.e. Kavil and Kamapurathu Kavu Temple. Both are one of the oldest temples in Kerala, believed to be made by the pandavas. The Idol in Kamapurathu Kavu is bigger in size and a rare combination of Shaiva and Vaishnava Bhavas together.
Most important and suprising thing is the movement of the miraculous Stone light beam (vilakku madam), which was fixed straight in front of the temple and idol is seems to have been moving to the southern side day by day. No reasonable scientific reason found yet for an explanation and still a miracle, which is visible to the devotees.
