My favourite teacher is Rohit Sir. He is well-versed in English. He is a voracious reader. His teaching is crystal clear. He inculcated in me an interest in English. He is my well-wisher. He is a veteran in teaching. He is my mentor. In spite of his excellent qualifications, he leads a simple life. he has left an indelible impression on my mind. I owe him a lot for my success in life.

SYNTAX
IN SPITE OF :
Eg: He has severe pain. Still, he smiles
Ans: In spite of severe pain, he smiles.
Eg: He has excellent qualifications. Still, he leads a simple life.
Ans: In spite of his excellent qualifications, he leads a simple life.
(In spite of shall be used in the first of a sentence. Then use the possessive case of subject in the first sentence.Avoid using 'has', 'have','had' etc. Then use comma, instead of full stop in the first sentence and remove 'still' to continue with the second sentence.)
